BELVEDERE 💣 💥(Calgary, Canada)

Highly regarded as one of the early pioneers of the melodic skate-punk bracket, Belvedere are legends of the genre, and we couldn't be more excited to bring them to Lincoln.

Formed in 1995 and originally never even meant to play a live show, the trailblazing foursome from Calgary, Alberta quickly grew a reputation on the underground punk scene for their frantic speed and rich melodies. Taking their name from the ’80s sitcom and influenced by the likes of Bad Religion and NOFX, they released their debut album ‘Because No One Stopped Us’ in 1998, following up with three more full-length records over the course of their career, and leading to tours with Bad Religion, Strung Out, Death by Stereo, Mad Caddies, Pulley, Satanic Surfers and Bigwig and several appearances at Warped Tour and Groezrock Festival.

After cementing their place in the annals of modern punk with four albums, Belvedere called it quits in 2005, before ultimately reuniting for a surprise tour in 2012. Encouraged by the response from fans, they began work on ‘Revenge of the Fifth’, their fifth full-length record released to high acclaim in 2016 after a 12-year hiatus. Welcomed back with open arms by fans, their anti-comeback led to further excitement with South American tour dates alongside Lagwagon, European tour dates including Manchester Punk Festival, and Groezrock, and shared stages with the likes of NOFX.

Their latest album, 'Hindsight Is The Sixth Sense', witnesses a fresh injection of vitality into the band with a new lineup, and cameos from the likes of Roger Lima (Less Than Jake) and Rody Walker (Protest The Hero).

MUCH THE SAME 💣 💥(CHICAGO, IL, USA)

Yep, that's right. Not one, but two legendary skate-punk bands are on the bill for this. Joining Belvedere, are their American counterparts, Much The Same.

Much The Same were a staple in Chicago skate- and pop-punk from 1999, coming up with contemporaries Fall Out Boy and Plain White T’s. They chose their name through joking that they were a clone of the popular Fat Wreck bands.

Their first album Quitters Never Win was released in 2003 by Anti-Flag’s label, AF Records. That album launched Much The Same into tours with Rise Against, Against Me! and A Wilhelm Scream, shows with Bad Religion and Thrice, and even a revered slot on Warped Tour.

In 2006, Much The Same released Survive, which became their seminal release. It launched them into international fandom however, after feeling the strain of character clashes, Much The Same took a break in 2007.

The band reunited to perform a reunion show in 2011, with no intention to continue to write. Three years passed before they were ready to fully come back and begin on a new album. Punk rock welcomed them back with open arms and, after booking one show, it wasn’t long before they had been invited to Groezrock in Belgium and Off Limits in Mexico.

2019 saw Much The Same returning to form: releasing new album Everything Is Fine and pressing Survive on vinyl for the first time. Now in 2020, Much The Same decided to release their first album “Quitters Never Win” on vinyl as well, on 3 different labels: Lockjaw Records for UK & Europe, Thousand Island Records for US & Canada and Pee Records for Australia.

HELL'S DITCH 💣 💥(LINCOLN, UK)

Lincoln's freshest punk rock band. Earning their stripes in the underground touring circuit, the members of HELL’S DITCH met while touring in previous acts well known in the UK and European punk scene including River Jumpers and Bad Ideas. Acts which shared stages with the likes of Anti-Flag, H2O, Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies, Off With Their Heads and The Swellers as well as appearing at the prestigious Download, Groezrock and Rebellion festivals during their tenures. After these acts dissolved the group joined forces to begin crafting a set of songs with the intention of making it their most ambitious work to date. Documenting new heights, the band is only early in their tenure, but have already reviewed praise from BBC Radio 1's The Rock Show, Kerrang! Magazine, punk rock troubadour Frank Turner, and have just laid down their first UK tour supporting Chicago's Kali Masi around the nation.

WOLFRIK 💣 💥(Alberta, CAN)

Wolfrik is a 5 piece punk rock band formed in Edmonton, Alberta. With a solidified local presence and reputation, the bands focus shifted towards touring following the release of their 2017 EP, Skeleton City (Lockjaw Records UK, Thousand Island Records CAN). With the help of Steve Rawles, (Belvedere/MBBM) Wolfrik had a break out year in 2019, touring Europe for three weeks, playing festivals such as Manchester Punk Fest and SBAM in Austria, as well as supporting a cross country Canadian tour with No Fun At All.
